After weeks of waiting, “The Stick Drop” has dropped and fans of women’s college lacrosse can listen to the stories that make this sport so special.

Host Sheehan Stanwick Burch welcomes Maryland sophomore star Hannah Leubecker onto “The Stick Drop” for its inaugural episodes, which is available on Spotify now.

In the episode, Leubecker shares her experience being homeschooled throughout her high school career — eventually making the transition to College Park to play for Cathy Reese and the women’s lacrosse program.

She’s midway through her second season with the Terps, and she’s already the team’s offensive leader. Through eight games, Leubecker has scored 35 goals, including seven against Ohio State last month.

In addition to her talents on the field, Leubecker is also a skilled gameday hairstylist and has recently learned she can drive with her left foot. She shares plenty more about life at Maryland with Stanwick Burch, so make sure to tune in today.
