Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. NLL on ESPN has a nice ring to it.

After a long hiatus due to COVID-19, the National Lacrosse League will make its return in 2021-22 in a big way, announcing a deal with ESPN. The network’s platforms will carry up to 139 games this season, including at least 10 games live on linear networks. The NLL season begins on Dec. 3.

2. A new era in Hempstead, N.Y.

One Tierney remains — head coach Seth Tierney — but Hofstra’s men’s lacrosse program will have to rebuild following the graduation of Seth’s son, Ryan, the school’s all-time leading scorer.
