Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Another busy weekend of fall lacrosse kicks off in a few days.

World Lacrosse’s Super Sixes event will be held at USA Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Md., on Saturday and Sunday, and there’s college lacrosse around the country, too.

Check out where the scrimmages will be held to see if you can go watch some lacrosse near you this weekend.

2. Speaking of Super Sixes, Canada has announced its rosters.

The men’s roster is littered with veteran talent, though it also has a mix of young stars like Jeff Teat and Jonathan Donville. The women’s roster features many players who participated in last weekend’s Fall Classic, including Dana Dobbie, Aurora Cordingley, Emily Boissonneault and others.

See each roster at the links below.

3. Tufts is mourning the loss of junior defender Madie Nicpon.

Nicpon, who played in three games in 2021, died in an accident Saturday afternoon, the university announced.

4. A lacrosse community is coming together to support one of its own.

Britt O’Brien, a Centre College men’s lacrosse player, was paralyzed in August when he dove into the shallow end of a pool. He suffered a spinal cord injury with a compression fracture of his C5 vertebrae.

Kendra Scott, a jewelry store, has created the Britt line, with 20 percent of all sales this weekend at its Lexington, Louisville and Atlanta stores going to O’Brien and his recovery.
