Good morning. Here's the latest from the lacrosse world:

1. The pursuit of gold begins this morning.

More than three years since the first round of tryouts and after two postponements for the global pandemic, the 2022 World Lacrosse U19 Men’s World Championship is finally here. The U.S. plays Canada this morning at 7 a.m. (Eastern) on ESPN+ from Limerick, Ireland. Matt Hamilton is on the ground in Ireland with the latest from the team.

2. World Lacrosse launches campaign for Olympics.

World Lacrosse joined the global lacrosse community today in launching an integrated creative campaign that celebrates the origins of the game, along with its significant growth and ambitions to return to the Olympic Games.

We continue our look at the upcoming college lacrosse season for our way-early rankings from Division I acrosse, including last year’s surprise men's team, Jacksonville, checking in at No. 16.

In women’s lacrosse, a pair of programs breaking in new head coaches — Princeton and Jacksonville — fall in the 16-20 range.

4. A 1-2 battle on the Athletes Unlimited leaderboard.

The two players atop the Athletes Unlimited leaderboard — Taylor Moreno and Sam Apuzzo — will square off against each other in the final game of the season on Sunday at USA Lacrosse headquarters. Here’s how this week’s draft went.

5. Lacrosse meets Wall Street.
