Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Legendary and emerging names take center stage at U.S. Men’s Box National Team training camp.

The American box lacrosse landscape has changed significantly since Joel White and John Ranagan first suited up about a decade ago. The two legends were on hand to try out for the 2024 team alongside rising stars like Syracuse’s Joey Spallina. They all have the same goal under head coach Regy Thorpe: Advance to the 2024 World Lacrosse Box Championship gold-medal game that narrowly alluded the 2019 squad. Matt Hamilton was in Utica for the tryouts.

Former Tar Heels All-American and team captain Peter Murphy has been named director of lacrosse operations at UNC. Murphy was a volunteer assistant last season.
