Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Another U.S. women’s national team legend is calling it a career.

Inside Lacrosse reported Monday that Kayla Treanor will join Taylor Cummings in retirement.

Treanor became the all-time leading scorer in U.S. team history and Taylor Cummings was named MVP of the World Lacrosse Women’s Championship earlier this month. Neither of them is playing in Athletes Unlimited this summer, though both have left open the possibility of returning to the pro league while closing the book on their national team careers.

Treanor and Cummings starred at Syracuse and Maryland, respectively, their careers overlapping as four-time first-team All-Americans. Both wore No. 21. Cummings is the only three-time Tewaaraton Award winner, male or female, in history. Treanor is now the head coach at Syracuse. Cummings is the head coach at high school powerhouse McDonogh (Md.)

2. Pat Spencer has reportedly signed a training camp deal with the Golden State Warriors.

Spotrac’s Keith Smith tweeted the news Monday, citing a league source. A former Loyola lacrosse star and the 2019 Tewaaraton Award winner, Spencer played basketball at Northwestern for a year and has had professional stops in Germany and with the Capital City Go-Go, the Washington Wizards’ minor league team.

3. Dempsey Arsenault tabbed U.S. teammate Marie McCool with the first overall pick in this week’s Athletes Unlimited draft.

Another pair of U.S. teammates linked up for the second pick, with Sam Apuzzo selecting Ally Mastroianni. Amanda Johansen picked Haley Warden and Taylor Moreno grabbed Lindsey McKone to close the first round.
