Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. A new report shines a light on gender inequities in lacrosse.

Phase II of an NCAA External Gender Equity Review, composed by Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP, has further detailed inequities in a variety of college sports, including lacrosse, following a viral March Madness video showcasing the lack of equity in facilities for men’s and women’s basketball.

The report, published on October 25, is a long read, but an interesting one.

Check out our summary of the report here.

2. Abby Wolk has persevered through her trauma.

A senior at Marjory Stoneman Douglas (Fla.) High School in 2018 when an active shooter killed 14 of her classmates and three of her teachers and coaches, Wolk struggled with fear and anxiety.

Lacrosse has also been her safe haven, and the crease has been the place where she fears nothing.

3. Pat Spencer is done with lacrosse, at least for now.

“Lacrosse is unfortunately out of the picture,” Spencer told NBC Sports Washington. The former Tewaaraton Award winner and all-time great is focused on making it to the NBA during training camp with Washington’s G-League team.

4. World Lacrosse’s Super Sixes event was a blast.

With 363 goals in 385 minutes, the nonstop action was a true test of lacrosse talent, IQ and speed. “Sixes brings out the best in the lacrosse player,” Canada’s Dana Dobbie said.
