Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Born for this moment.

Dyson Williams, the son of National Lacrosse League Hall of Fame inductee Shawn Williams, was the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s NLL Draft. The Albany FireWolves selection still has another year left at Duke.

2. Honoring Jack Emmer

Army endowed its men’s lacrosse coaching position in the name of Hall of Fame coach Jack Emmer. Emmer had highly successful stints at Cortland State, Washington & Lee and Army and also coached the 2002 U.S. team a gold medal.

3. Boston College plays for Welles.

Wearing "Red Bandana" inspired uniforms in honor of 9/11 hero Welles Crowther, Boston College's football team nearly pulled off a stunning upset of No. 3 Florida State on Saturday before falling 31-29.
