Good morning. Here’s the latest from around the lacrosse world:

1. Memorial Day weekend has arrived.

The NCAA Division I women’s lacrosse semifinals are today in Towson, Md. Boston College faces North Carolina at 12 p.m. Eastern, followed by Syracuse and Northwestern at 2 p.m. The championship game is Sunday at 12 p.m. All games are on ESPNU.

The NCAA Division I men’s lacrosse semifinals are Saturday in East Hartford, Conn. Virginia plays North Carolina at 12 p.m. Eastern, followed by Maryland and Duke at 2:30 p.m. The championship game is Monday at 1 p.m. All games are on ESPN2.

The NCAA Division II and III men’s lacrosse championship games — Lenoir Rhyne vs. Le Moyne and RIT vs. Salisbury, respectively — are Sunday in East Hartford, Conn. The Division II (1 p.m. ET) and Division III (4 p.m. ET) finals will be streamed on NCAA.com.

2. Northwestern coach Kelly Amonte Hiller was on “The Stick Drop” with Sheehan Stanwick Burch. Among the topics covered in the podcast: the coaches that shaped Amonte Hiller’s career, playing soccer at Maryland and matching up against luminaries like North Carolina’s Mia Hamm in the ACC and promoting her husband Scott Hiller to run the offense.

3. The USILA announced its All-Americans and award winners for Division I and Division II men’s lacrosse, with Maryland’s Jared Bernhardt and Le Moyne’s Matt Hutchings earning national player of the year honors.

4. A record 23 teams will compete in the 2022 World Lacrosse Men’s U21 World Championship in Limerick, Ireland next year, World Lacrosse announced Thursday.

5. The USA Lacrosse Women’s National Tournament — an event dating back to 1933 that has evolved into a premier recruiting showcase — returns this weekend in Bel Air, Md. The tournament was canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
