UNC's Molly Hendrick Named Epoch/US Lacrosse Player of the Week

Molly Hendrick scored five first-half goals against Boston College and tied her career high with seven goals against Syracuse to lead North Carolina to its second straight ACC championship.

North Carolina’s Molly Hendrick was unstoppable in the ACC tournament, scoring 12 goals in two games to lead the Tar Heels to their second straight conference title and earn Epoch/US Lacrosse Player of the Week honors.

Hendrick scored five first-half goals to help stake North Carolina to a big lead Friday in its 17-14 win over Boston College in the ACC semifinals, then one-upped herself with a career-high nine points Sunday in the Tar Heels’ 18-11 victory over Syracuse in the championship game.
