With 13 saves in Syracuse’s 10-6 win over then-No. 7 Notre Dame, Orange redshirt senior goalie Dom Madonna is the Warrior/US Lacrosse Player of the Week.

The victory marked their 900th in program history, making Syracuse the second program in Division I lacrosse history to reach the milestone. The Orange also clinched a share of the ACC regular season title with the win and moved up three spots to No. 7 in the Nike/US Lacrosse Division I Men's Top 20.

Madonna anchored a defense that held Notre Dame scoreless during extra-man attempts. The Orange went 8-for-8 as a man-down unit.

His 68.4 save percentage is a career best when facing more than five shots, while his 13 saves matched his career high from their Duke win last week.
