Sergio Perkovic has a habit of showing up when Notre Dame needs him. He came up big again for the Irish on Saturday, helping fuel a 14-13 comeback win over North Carolina at Arlotta Stadium.

With Notre Dame down 12-11 in the fourth quarter, Perkovic scored two goals in less than two minutes to catapult his team into the lead. North Carolina didn’t go away, tying the game at 13-13 with 5:56 left.

Perkovic led the offense in the final minutes, eventually flipping a pass to Brian Costabile, who scored the game-winner with 2:44 left in the game. His three goals and two assists, including three points in the final nine minutes, earns him Epoch/US Lacrosse Player of the Week honors.
