Not a bad debut for 6-foot-3 freshman Brandon Dodd.

The Logan, Utah, native had four goals and four assists (and also shot 100%) for Air Force in the Falcons’ 14-13 upset win over then-No. 5 Duke on Saturday.

Dodd, who scored two of Air Force’s five fourth-quarter goals, is the US Lacrosse Player of the Week for his effort. He scored an insurance goal with 48 seconds left in the game before Duke’s Dyson Williams cut the deficit to 14-13 with seven seconds left.

Air Force won the ensuing faceoff, punctuating the victory.
