Sharing the same field as esteemed distributor Chris Gray — a Tewaaraton Award favorite — it was Jack Myers who orchestrated the superior offense.

Myers, the Ohio State senior, amassed two goals and seven assists in a thorough 20-8 dismantling of North Carolina last weekend, propelling the formerly unranked Buckeyes to No. 7 in the Nike/USA Lacrosse Division I Top 20. The Tar Heels had entered play at No. 5. They now sit at No. 13.

The shocking result was not just because of a career day from Myers, but it certainly started with him. For his efforts, Myers is the USA Lacrosse Magazine Division I Men’s Player of the Week.

Myers led the Buckeyes in assists as a freshman and sophomore before leading the team in goals as a junior. On the heels of his big game, Myers leads the 2022 Buckeyes in points (19) and assists (11) during a 3-0 start.
