Jack Kielty and the entire Notre Dame defense was at its best on Saturday against then-No. 1 Duke.

The defense at large allowed just eight goals in the 13-8 win, but individually, Kielty was sensational. The graduate student from Morristown, N.J., held Michael Sowers to just one assist and kept him from scoring with an 0-for-3 showing.

For his efforts, Kielty is the US Lacrosse Division I Men’s Player of the Week.
