Chris Gray is the USA Lacrosse Magazine Division I Men's Player of the Week

As has been the case for much of this season, North Carolina needed everything Chris Gray could muster on Saturday.

Gray had six goals and two assists and scored the tying and winning goals in a 17-16 takedown of Denver, moving UNC to No. 9 in the Nike/USA Lacrosse Division I Men’s Top 20. Gray is the USA Lacrosse Magazine Division I Men’s Player of the Week.

A Tewaaraton Award finalist last spring, Gray already has 25 goals and 16 assists through six games. He posted 91 points (49 goals, 42 assists) a season ago and is clearly on pace to break that if he continues his torrid pace.
