In one of the more thrilling contests of the 2022 season to date, Chris Brown provided the dagger.

Mired in a back-and-forth affair in which both teams made second-half runs to keep pace, Princeton prevailed over Penn 21-20 in overtime thanks to the game-winner from Brown. It was his sixth goal of the game, and he finished with nine points. He also scored the goal that put Princeton ahead 20-19 with 2:06 left in regulation.

For his clutch all-around performance, Brown is the USA Lacrosse Magazine Division I Men’s Player of the Week.

A senior from Fairfield, Connecticut, Brown has 18 goals and 13 assists for a team-leading 31 points during Princeton’s 5-1 start. The Tigers are ranked No. 3 in the Nike/USA Lacrosse Division I Men’s Top 20.
